Active Ingredient: TOCILIZUMAB
Tocilizumab (an IL-6 receptor antagonist) does not affect cardiac repolarization. In a multicenter, thorough QT study of 121 healthy subjects, both therapeutic (10 mg/kg) and supratherapeutic (20 mg/kg) intravenous doses were evaluated. The estimated mean placebo-corrected QTc change (ΔΔQTc) was negative at all time points (ranging from −5.4 to −1.0 ms), with the upper bound of the 95% confidence interval well below the 10 ms regulatory threshold
