Active Ingredient: STRONTIUM
Strontium ranelate is an anti-osteoporotic agent that demonstrates no clinically significant prolongation of cardiac repolarization or QTc intervals exceeding regulatory thresholds. In an ICH E14 thorough QT crossover study in 96 healthy volunteers with moxifloxacin positive control, repeated supratherapeutic dosing (4 g daily for 15 days, double standard dose) showed that the largest placebo-corrected mean QTcI change was 7.54 ms with an upper 90% confidence bound of 9.90 ms, remaining strictly below the 10 ms regulatory concern margin. No subject exceeded a QTc of 480 ms.
