However, this risk is largely mitigated by Spironolactone’s pharmacological action: by antagonizing aldosterone, it prevents hypokalemia/hypomagnesemia. This electrolyte-sparing effect 'blunts' the impact of the hERG channel blockade, effectively neutralizing the pro-arrhythmic potential.
