In addition on having no activity on hERG channels : in a thorough QT parallel-group study of 160 healthy volunteers, both therapeutic (10 mg) and supratherapeutic (100 mg) doses administered for 5 days showed no signal of QTc prolongation. The study used individually corrected QT (QTcI) as the primary endpoint. No pharmacokinetic/pharmacodynamic relationship, gender effects, or clinically relevant ECG outliers were observed.
