Active Ingredient: REZAFUNGINE
Rezafungin is a next-generation long-acting echinocandin antifungal that demonstrates no clinically significant effect on cardiac repolarization or QTc intervals. In a definitive phase 1 randomized double-blind trial in healthy adults with moxifloxacin positive control, therapeutic (600 mg) and supratherapeutic (1400 mg) single intravenous doses showed that the upper bound of the two-sided 90% confidence interval for concentration-dependent ddQTcF remained strictly below 10 ms. No prolongation of the QT interval or widening of QRS duration was observed.
