Clinical Description (Database Summary)

In a randomized, placebo and positive controlled Thorough QT study evaluating an uptitration regimen up to 100 mg/day, concentration-effect analysis predicted that the upper bound of the 90% confidence interval for QTcI remains below the 10-ms threshold at 20 mg/day. Mild, dose-dependent QTcI prolongations were observed at supratherapeutic doses (6.9ms at 40 mg and 9.1ms at 100 mg), with a shallow concentration-effect slope (0.0053ms/ng/mL).
