The impact of Oseltamivir on the QT interval appears to depend heavily on the patient's clinical status. Healthy Patients: No QT prolongation observed. COVID-19 Context: Studies have shown QT prolongation of up to 60ms in patients treated with monotherapy. Animal Models: Canine studies confirm a transient QT prolongation with high doses up to 30mg/kg, though fortunately without triggering Torsades de Pointes (TdP). Caution is advised in patients with active viral infections or inflammatory states.
