Active Ingredient: MARIBAVIR
In a randomized, Phase I, placebo-controlled, four-period crossover Thorough QT (TQT) study of 52 healthy participants, both therapeutic (100 mg) and supratherapeutic (1200 mg) oral doses were evaluated using 22-hour digital 12-lead Holter monitoring. Moxifloxacin (400 mg) was utilized as a positive control. For both maribavir doses, the upper bound of the two-sided 90% confidence interval for baseline- and placebo-adjusted corrected QT (ΔΔQTc) remained consistently below the 10-ms threshold at all time points. A concentration-effect analysis revealed no statistical relationship between plasma levels of maribavir (or its metabolite) and the QTc interval.
