Active Ingredient: LINEZOLIDE
Linezolid may prolong the QT interval supposedly through mitochondrial dysfunction. The risk appears significantly higher in tuberculosis patients treated for long periods (>8 weeks) or those co-medicated with other cardiotoxic drugs like bedaquiline or fluoroquinolones. Regular ECG monitoring is recommended during prolonged therapy.
