Active Ingredient: LAMOTRIGINE
Lamotrigine is an antiepileptic and mood stabilizer that demonstrates no QT interval prolongation at therapeutic doses (50 to 200 mg twice daily). In a controlled crossover study in healthy subjects with moxifloxacin positive control, steady-state lamotrigine produced small concentration-dependent reductions in QTcF (maximum mean difference from placebo of -7.48 ms at 200 mg b.d.) and a mild increase in heart rate (5.94 bpm). No outliers with QTcF exceeding 450 ms were observed, and QRS duration remained unaffected.
