(Hérité de ISOTRETINOINE ACNETRAIT 10 mg) Isotretinoin (an oral retinoid used for acne vulgaris) is not associated with significant QTc interval prolongation, increased QT dispersion, or cardiac arrhythmias at standard therapeutic doses (0.8mg/kg/day). A systematic review of clinical studies showed no significant alterations in cardiac conduction parameters or Holter monitoring after 1 to 6 months of treatment. Although major adverse cardiovascular events remain rare and overall clinical trial sample sizes are small, current evidence supports a safe ventricular repolarization profile.
