Active Ingredient: ETRASIMOD
In a randomized, double-blind, Thorough QT study evaluating multiple ascending doses (2 mg to 4 mg), concentration-QTcF modeling predicted that placebo-corrected baseline changes remained strictly below the 10-ms threshold across all plasma concentrations. However, etrasimod induces a mild, transient, and asymptomatic heart rate slowing (bradycardia) that is most pronounced upon initial dose administration on Day (delta HR up to -15.1 bpm), diminishing with continued dosing. Small PR interval increases (delta PR max: 6.6ms) were observed without any AV block episodes.
