Active Ingredient: CARBETOCINE
Carbetocin is a long-acting oxytocin analog used as an uterotonic during cesarean delivery that produces statistically significant QTc prolongation without dose dependency. In a randomized trial of 41 healthy parturients receiving 50 mcg or 100 mcg IV boluses under spinal anesthesia, QTc lengthened at 5 and 10 minutes post-administration in both groups without between-group differences.
