Active Ingredient: ALBUMINE
Human Albumin Infusion isn't known to prolong the QTc interval and is associated with a reduction in cardiac repolarization duration in hypoalbuminemic patients. Hypoalbuminemia is an independent risk factor for QTc prolongation, often mediated by secondary hypocalcemia. In an iranian clinical study of pediatric nephrotic syndrome patients with severe hypoalbuminemia (2g/dL), albumin infusion significantly reduced mean QTc from 411 +/- 45ms to 401 +/- 44ms (p < 0.001), particularly resolving repolarization delays linked to hypocalcemia. Albumin therapy exhibits a protective/corrective electrophysiological profile.
